CTA Acoustics, Inc. has been engaged in the manufacture and supply of fibrous-based products for acoustical and thermal management applications since 1971. Primary markets served are the Automotive Industry and Building Products.

The Company is privately-held, with its headquarters and customer focus activities located in Madison Heights, Michigan. These activities include account management, program management and engineering, 'in-house’ CAD, acoustical testing, and rapid prototyping. Major automotive customers include Ford, GM, DCX, and Nissan.



Manufacturing operations are centrally located in Corbin, Kentucky, just off of I75 and approximately 70 miles southeast of Lexington. The three-facility complex, totaling more than 360,000 square feet, was operational in the fall of 2003. The complex is truly unique and incorporates state of the art processes for fiber blending and mat formation, compression molding, water jet cutting, and final assembly. The latest environmental and safety measures have been put into place to provide a safe and environmentally friendly atmosphere for our employees and community.

Our customer and manufacturing activities are supported by world class material development and validation test capabilities, acoustical testing and evaluation technologies and thermal mapping capabilities. These ‘in-house’ capabilities enable us to identify, evaluate, and develop innovative solutions for our customers’ acoustical and thermal requirements.
