CTA Acoustics, Inc. has been engaged in the manufacture and supply of fibrous-based products for acoustical and thermal management applications since 1971. The primary market served is the North American Automotive Industry both as a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier.

The Company is privately-held, with its headquarters and customer focus activities located in Madison Heights, Michigan. These activities include account management, program management and engineering, and 'in-house’ CAD. Major automotive OEM customers include Ford, GM, Chrysler, and Nissan.

Manufacturing operations are centrally located in Corbin, Kentucky, just off of I75 and approximately 70 miles southeast of Lexington. The three-facility complex, totaling more than 400,000 square feet, was operational in the fall of 2003. The vertically integrated complex is truly unique and includes state of the art processing equipment for fiber opening, blending and mat formation.  Further processing of our materials includes compression molding, water jet cutting, and final assembly. The latest environmental and safety measures are in place to provide a safe and environmentally friendly atmosphere for our employees and community.

Our customer and manufacturing activities are supported by world class material and product development, physical, acoustical and thermal test capabilities, acoustical testing technologies, and thermal mapping. These ‘in-house’ capabilities enable us to identify, evaluate, develop and validate innovative solutions for our customers acoustical and thermal requirements.
